brake bias question (fao track users)

right all you track goers, are you using the standard rear brake bias valve, or have you fit an aftermarket in-car adjuster?

those of you that are using the standard unit and have lowered cars, do you have any problems with the amount of bias put to the rear, or even the rears locking up?

    thankin you :D

If you want to adjust the bias in car then you'll need to reroute the rear pipes through the car and fit a proportioning valve.

With the adjuster like in the pic? You just turn the knob depending whether you want more or less braking force going to the rear. If it locks up the rear too easily in a certain situation (wet track, poor surface, etc.) then you just wind off a bit each time until you are happy with the balance. Doing the same on a converted original bias adjuster under the car isn't quite as easy as the set up method per trackis pretty much trial and error and you'd need to come into the pits every lap to adjust and retry!
