How come a vts can get silly power gains from just a de-cat and filter? I do belive you by the way, just wondering. You made 17bhp on those mods. Ive got a de-cat and ik and i want a 17bhp increaseOriginally Posted by skipp123
My mates 106 was the same. He used all pug sport bits, and got silly gains you just dont see on other cars.
Its only a 1.6. surely the power gains are easier to get on a 1.8.
Still whooped him anyways :D
i think on 106s and vts the breathing makes alot of differance... dunno why it made a extra 17bhp but it did, done at pts in luton, il post times IF i go just had to order some new tyres £108 im skint enogh as it is....
You dont have to post'em mate. I belive you like.

Has anyone seen a before and after mods of the same 106 or Saxo? Just wondering whether these gains are from people looking at the quoted figure and then what they got on the rollers?
Sometimes manufacturers do quote lower power than the engines actually put out. Or engines vary from one example to the next
