All the way from the states http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-udmsfx-kit.html

Only took about a week to come, couldn't resist the temptation to open it, had to make sure everything was there, and they also shoved in some nice new microfibre towels free of charge.

i can't use it yet though, because it came from america it has a two pin plug so i have ordered an adapter from ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/110v-US-UK-Ada...QQcmdZViewItem

you could alternatively change the plug, but i just ordered this cable to keep the warranty.

then you will need a transformer to step up/down the voltage from 110v to 240v so it can be used in the UK.

the total cost of my UDM was about $340 ish with lots of extra pads and postage, then i had my cable on top of that which came to £20, so the total was about £190, i will maybe get a transformer at a later date, but my dad has one so i will just nick it for time being :D.

    any more questions just ask

can you use a standard 110v transformer like the one we use when doing site work..

    http://www.toolstation.com/index.html?code=80013

first item down. we have to use 110v equipment now by law..

just depends daz, car is going in for a full respray soon, hopefully this week fingers crossed, just waiting for the bodyshop to get back to me, they have the bonnet and bumpers down there at the moment just waiting to free up the space for the clio.

will probably be 2 weeks in the body shop, arches are getting replaced etc.

so anytime between now and after christmas, if i can't wait might just have a crack at the paintwork before the respray when my cable is in :D
