    rear braking

    not ever changing rear brakes on a valver,having not had it long.Do the discs need a bearing pressed in to them ? were do these without messing about putting the bearing in ?

    yes you need to have the bearing taken out the old discs and pressed into the new ones. most people tend to budget for new bearing n all tho i think, least i do as a matter of course

    I thought when you buy new discs coops the bearing is in a new disc????

    iirc?

    If your bearing has gone mate just buy a new disc with bearing pre-installed.

    Less farting around if my above quote is correct.

    not when i've ever bought them no, always been the separate parts and had to get them pressed in

    only if you buy the discs from renault then they have bearings in them.

    Remem from my Rsi days. Bearings went for fun on mine!

    The 16v hasnt had one go in the 3 1/2 years ive had it! TOUCH WOOD! :D

    I've bought the bearing seperate from the disks b4 and had to get them pressed in, but this time I went for the Renault ones to save the hassle....plus the price worked out to be roughly the same

    Well id be interested in a price for two from renault,i can get X2 discs for £35 and bearings for £20 X2
