The ball joints at either end of the rack is what I am refering to. I need to replace these before an mot.
Is this possible or will I need to replace the rack?
Any advice would be appreciated :D

It is a Williams 2 by the way.
you need the actual track rod (not the end)
they unscrew off the rack (but usually take a lot of persuading :(
Do you mean the ball joints on the very end which bolt onto the hub or the ball joints at the inner ends of the rods?
The ball joint at the opposite end of the track rod to the hub is the one that needs replacing.
Yeah you need the track rods, absolute CUNT to do, i did mine with 2 stillsons, but i never got the washers inside with my new rods from GSF
Was a complete arse in the end, used the stilsons in the end.
Oh and anyone got any pics 'cos I'm going to need to do this.
there just a form of pliers which when turned 1 way will only get tighter as the teeth point that way, very good for stuff like that
btw Euro car parts sell the complete tie rods and track rod ends for williams, iirc there about £30+ each side
there Febi products which are bilstien
