u33db's 'Project S' - a.k.a quick scooter!

As most of you know i got myself a cheap 50cc Yamaha scooter on thursday and, in the on-going tradition of messing/modifiying, this scooter will be no different. Plans are to hopefully break the 50/55 mile an hour mark max speed with this bad-boy, along with restoring it to as new condition! Anyway, here first pics for anyone interested...

Front end after a removing all the gay stickers;


Left hand side with the gayer stickers removed. Had the transmission cover off today to derestrict the pulleys but it seems someone has already done it...can't tell how quick it goes yet as the speedo is broken but i can keep pace with 40mph traffic


Wheels are peeling badly right now - think i'll get a replacement set of ebay and have them powdercoated...dunno which colour though? Exhaust is cack as well, hopefully be able to rectify that with a technigas tunable or scorpion system;


As you can see, the shock is totally fooked - gonna replace that with an adjustable one. Airbox looks a bit gay too so i'll be removing that in favour of a PX open cone (or similar);

Popped down to the local car shop and have bought a cone filter...one of those universal car efforts so is a *little* bit big! It goes on after some bodging with the adapter rings but now have to sort the carb and fueling so have been forced to leave it off in the meantime...

Aye, is a bit of overkill but a good laugh...going to be loving the day when i roll up next to someone and shout "next green light" ROTFL! Obviously get mullered by what a piss-take
