Cheers Steve, work has started at Dovercourt Ford Witham, should be back on the road in a couple of weeks. Saw estimate for work, £11 short of £2400, still supprised the repair was authorised after the front end shunt I had in June, in my first W2, it was written off and a settlement figure of £1700 was made. The body condition of the 1st wasn't as good as the 2nd but the numbers still don't make sense so I will shut up until I get the car back fully repaired then use the anomoly as a stick to beat the ins co with in the hope it will increase the £1700 offer.

Got willy back mid-day yesterday, good to get back into a proper car after driving around in a ford festa for 3 weeks. All looks good. Changed steering column today cos sloppy steering spoilt the drive, fitted repaired column to test, really sharp again. Well happy again. :D

Not that i mean to dredge up this age old argument, but... I would chip some paint off the wheels to and get them to respray them too.

Mainly because they look fairly wrong.

Not so fast, and not so happy. Got home 3oclock this morn after cobra alarm decided to imobilise itself half way through M25 dartford tunnel, very nasty as there are very few places to hide in there, the wagons didn't help. Anyhow anyone know how to bypass cobra alarms?
