Steering wheel is standard but with a phase 1 centre pad, indicator stalk is from a Reno 5.

Yeah i agree about the colour but hey not too fussed . It was on ebay at 980 quid with 2 days left . as it was in ipswich i arranged a viewing and went along in my mk3 astra 2.0 cdx . bloke loved the astra and we swopped ...

    astra was
    N reg
    114k
    1 mot ticket
    no history
    1 month tax

    clio
    full history
    86k
    tax till oct.

at first i was weary but i checked everything and found the engine sound and the rest is history as they say lol

even better if it turns out to be a 2.0l

lad was driving too and from portsmouth every week so the astra would be far more comfortable drive i must admit.

Maybe another check is to see what the limiter cuts in at.

Mine williams is around 83pmh in 3rd, 110mph in 4th. The williams are limited to 6500rpm but you can push past this barrier once they have been warmed up. to 6700rpm

btw welcome to the club mate

if it hits the limiter at 6500-7200 id say 2.0........hits the limiter at more than that.1800

Testing the limiter wouldn't work if the ECU has been chipped tho!
I would try and locate the engine tag, also the gearbox one too and see what starter motor is on it.
