    RT failed MOT :(

    Failed on;

    - Nearside front brake ferrule (??) excessively corroded,
    - Offset fron brake hose excessively deteriorated,
    - Nearside front brake pipe excessively corroded,
    - Offside front track rod end balljoint has excessive play.

    Fail enough i suppose...i've booked it in for a repair and retest for tuesday but how much is this going to cost me to put right?

    On a related note i got an advisory on the rear chassis being rusty?!

    In parts prolly no more than £20-£30, i'd say for a half decent mechanic prolly couple of hours work, maybe a couple more depending on how familier they are with the clio

    Depends on labour rates, tbh can't even remember last time car was in a garage for anything other than an MOT

    Ball joint - £10ish (if that)
    15m bundy pipe - £10ish
    Union - £0.99 each - x4
    0.5ltr Brake fluid - £4.99

    Thats £29, and you'll need about 1-2mtrs of bundy pipe
