Steering Wheel stereo control (Is this std on Willy 3's?)

Hi chaps,

I want to be able to control my stereo from the steering wheel. I remember hearing that the Williams 3 came with a control unit. Where does this sit and what does it look like? Does it control the volume only? Has anyone got a pics? The reason i ask is because I know you can get a conversion kit to control my stereo.

I have other avenues I can take but just wanted to keep the car fairly stock without bolt on stuff.

Sits under the right side of the steering wheel.



Does volume, station, mute / pause and source if i remember rightly. You can also use an after market adapter for non standard head units.

I've got one of those sitting in my garage...took it off my RT along with the bottom cowl to enable fitment.

You can have it for a small amount?

I have a Pioneer P88Prs but think I might have a P90 lined up in the future

I know I can get a separate Pioneer remote that fixes to the steering wheel but the orginal will look more stock and not draw attention. I hope you have the ability to change tracks on the stock control?

yeah im sure it does change tracks? mine does, but its a kenwood tho.

is there an afermarket adapter that can enable headunits to plug to the remote control? As mine currently doesnt. Seems a waste when its a useful bit of kit. if so where do i get it?
