Spare wheel

Were they alloy originally? I've got an as-new steel spare wheel with brand new Michelin tyre on it I'd be willing to part with, if interested?

Mine is 15" steel. Looks like bare metal rather than black though, but absolutely no rust as I took it off the car over ten years ago and have dry stored it (dehumidified garage) since. It is 'concours' condition. Unused 185 55 R15 on it. I'd like £50 for it. A new 185/55 Michelin tyre must cost that alone?

I'm in Essex I'm afraid. I can weigh it for you to get an idea of postage if you are not down this way anytime soon. I'd guess it would be £10-£15 as I had a set of four alloys shipped the other week for £25 that must have been four times the size and twice the weight.
