With GPS you measure the exact speed right? Because all speedometers have some digression as I know... is it big(the digression I mean :P)?

I found that higher speed my speedo is very accurate (using a tom tom one gps unit). It is slightly off at lower speeds, but only as much as 2 mph Pretty darn good for a speedometer i reckon! (Well apart from the slight wobble, I need a new cable).

I see, thanks ;)
More videos please(if there are any?)
Mine hits 139 tops on gps too, damn valver manifold, had a little bit more revs to play with was at around 6.8k
Fast enough if you ask me, i want to get there quicker thats all!
Disclaimer: All Speed testing and racing that i do is all carried out on my private race track....
GPS is a true speed reading yeah. We tested 2 lives for accuracy and it's pretty accurate. GPS 70mph was 72mph on the clocks, 90mph GPS was 93mph on the clocks, so not that far out at all.Originally Posted by Yamaha_YzF-R1
On my 172 it's not as accurate, 160mph is 151mph on GPS
the higher the speed the more otu it will be.
mines 145 on speedo and 139 on gps maxed out atm.
but once new manifold i should see 143\144 on gps with the extra rpm i got to use
I've gotted 147 indicated out of my valver
~6900rpm iirc
only managed about 125 on the autobahn cause it was full of luggage and had a passenger :(
fun trying though
My hybrid has the 1.8 gearbox and raised limit (7100) and i hit 147.
