    Cheers lads.....

Leather is lovely martin, whats your new beast and when u fancy popping over? Lets just say it was less than the going rate!

Shut it zollo! Hows things with the 6?

Chris - sounds like a great idea mate, i'm going to have to look into it as it's nothing like the clio for speed, but comfort and build quality it seems a lot more advanced. Hows the little one?

Nice northy, is it an 8v?

    Whens the next track day?

Got a few mods coming for it which I'm looking forward to trying out. And there's a fair few other bits n pieces that need sorting. Still a pleasure to drive though.

Get some BBS split-rims on the Golf mate. They're lovely looking cars with a few mods. How has yours been lowered?

yeh mate it has, only by 40 though, it's a nice touch i think, split rims would look awsome, not sure on the price though!

Any mods going on the 6?

Checked out eBay or some of the forums, like Edition38, for secondhand ones?

I'm running the 6 as a project car for Performance French Cars mag (first report is in this month's issue), so yeah, it'll be having a few alterations. Nothing crazy though!

BBS Splits are nice (and so expensive). I would go for something else as they have been done to death (not to mention a royal pain in the arse to clean). Would try some Volk or Enkei splits or something (obviously the design would need careful choosing to match).

i borrowed a 1.8 16v, i think was 125bhp model? not that quick, but as solid asa tank, and steering was beautiful. Just so comfy and reliable, wasnt very interesting as perhaps a willy or 16v or sumthing, but defo scores top points for sheer reliability and tank-like build. Loved it. boring but loved it.
