    Heat shield (upper)

On the look out for an exhaust heat shield for my valver, the upper one thats protects the accelerator cable from heat from the manafold

Needed quite urgently, doesnt need to be immaculate, in fact long as it does the job it'll be fine as I'm on the skint side of skint ATM

What have you got and how much do you want for it??

    Many thanks
    Dave

lol.. I was waiting for the usual response of 'just buy one, they don't cost much'.

I wouldn't recommend driving long distance without a heat shield. The braking reservoir is very close as well.

Buy one before you fry/melt something or boil/overheat the brake fluid!

dont worry mate, cars not being driven ATM, its my track project, gonna have a go at making myself one I think as I dont have much money to throw at this car this month

£35 is better than I expected from reno, but still a bit heavy

I would point out that although it's pricey, it is physically a VERY light component. If you make one out of sheet steel, you will be adding weight to your race car.

If you can wait and don't want to spend the cash on new one.. check some scrap yards for old ones.
