K + N filter charge kit or Panel filter????

Ok I thought recently I bought a k+n panel filter off flea bay but it turns out to be a filter charge cone filter thing kit... All thought it is brand new and unused and it cost very very little I was wondering should I use it? What difference would it make? Sound and performance wise?

I now some people love em and some hate em but why??

What about the negatives of it?
Also where and what is the best replacement panel filter? I know there was a link from ITG I think but cant find it so if someone could recommend a panel filter and point me in the right direction???

Why dont you just try it for yourself? It only takes 5 mins to fit...

k + n,s sound lovely but draw to much warm air unless you relocate them to the scuttle panel.

ok for winter use but not so good in the summer
