My symptoms are back randomly.

Its the one where when the engines cold you dip the clutch at any speed in any gear (obviously lol) and it drops to about 400rpm feels like its gonna stall then crawls back up to 1k and idles perfect....

Then it hits a certain temperature or amount of times doing its little trick and idles perfectly time and time again.

I want this fixing soon if its the lambda because its the ONLY thing wrong with this car at the moment - it's a foooooking dream to drive and no rattles!

this is simalier to the problem i have mate. I'm earthing the speedo tommorrow, but i still think it's the lamda on mine too.

whats it like from a cold start, just left to idle, does it idle ok for 30secs or so then chug a bit after a min ?

Daz i would say its your coolant temp sensor mate. I had EXACTLY the same problem in my old hybrid, and after a new lambda never solved it i then changed the CTS and it was perfect after that :D

It starts fine, idles fine, runs fine just till you let the revs drop from anything around driving speed revs if you get what I mean

If you let the car idle for 1 min before setting off when its cold, see if it does it then. Id be wiling to bet it wont

So now its the road speed sensor, the CTS and also the Lamda

I stick by my judgement of CTS. It idles fine when upto temp so not a speed issue. This means it can only be one of a few things - the CTS, the cold start injector or the lambda. In my case it was the CTS and mine had exactly the same symptoms as yours does
