    Best oil filter wrench??

    Hi chaps,

    Going to change the oil later, im fed up with struggling for ages taking the bloody filter off, whats the best type of wrench to use?

    Adjustable plier/mole grip wrench style?

    I use a chain style one and it works ok.

    I use a wrench type but nothing so complicated as a moliegrip type wrench. Just has a slider on the hinge to get 3 size settings. Works a treat.

    lol i used to use the screw driver method but then one day ended up with the metal just ripping but it not moving, so now i have a chain and that works just fine :D

    tbh, if you change the filter frequently enough it never has chance to seize on, so i just use my hand

    I change the filter frequently, every 3000 miles!!! just I hate wrecking my hands for no reason!! Went for the plier style one, loosened the filter immediately and took seconds to come off

    id just go with the screwdriver. just take it easy son
