    bolts for supporting engine to engine stand

    hello there

    can any one help

    i m about to remove the engine once i get home from the rig next week but want to take home some threaded rod and bolts for mounting the engine on to the engine stand

    what size bolts, rod do i need to secure the engine to the stand ( its just your normal stand from ebay )

    much appriciated

    I just used the engine->bell housing bolts. I take it that it's a clarke stand, as mine was also from ebay. Although the bolts should work, you probably better off getting some slightly longer ones, as you suggest.

    and dont get stainless as theyre soft,get high tensile ones instead

    or use some m10 threaded rod and cut to length
