Just wondering what number did the Williams 1 go up to?
This site says 390 were made for the UK - do the numbers stop there?
I m going to view a car which is number 0425 - is that correct??

Wot - a 16v made to look like a Williams??
This thread doesnt make much sense lol
But it was def more than 390- dont know the exact number.
Check the plaque when you go to see it, it was def in the 400's.
The williams 2's and threes carried on the numbers AFAIK
Hence it may not be a willy one if the number is too high
Wrong, there were over 390 williams 1's produced however they were not commercially released in the UK. iirc there were actually 4000 made but the rest were LHD and ended up in mainland europe. There is a chance that someone specially ordered a RHD willy 1 from a french dealer or something.
what 1fast6 said above is correct!! there are some willy 1's in this country that are right hookers with production numbers above the 390 mark on the plaque.....
CLIO WILLIAMS 0215
The one I looked at only a few weeks ago and posted on here was a williams 1- and it was no 407 iirc.
It was not a left hooker.
cheers nyk. that clarifies what me and 1fast6 said above :D
CLIO WILLIAMS 0215
what there trying to say
in with the 400 or so built some went out of the country
so thats why the plaques go past 400
from what i understand there was no order to the plagues they were just wacked on any car what was been done at the time
