    Ariel

Have had a little bee sting ariel ready to put on the Willy for a while since some ASBO in waiting decided he liked the original ariel, how easy are they to fit? the garage mentioned removing the light/control console on the interior etc, was he right? any help welcome.

The big question, is Aeriel spelt like that or Aerial? Possibly the way it's annoying me this is the most important question

yes removing the interior light etc. then it just unbolts. most difficult part is fitting the lead dependant on type.

Spot on, job for the weekend, sad as it sounds not too bothered about the lead etc as it's purely for looks as never use the radio, though of course will try to do a proper job :D

On smaller type its only held on with a nut and very easy. Light cover just pops off.

Remember to put a little bit of silicone under the base before tightening up. Stops any possible leaks. Just wipe any excess away before it cures.

does the light console just pop off with a bit of pressure or is there a 'knack'?
