I did it using different grades of wet and dry paper, metal polish and lacquer.

any chance you can do a pic side on of the whole car, I could do with 'shopping those onto to mine to see what the black on black looks like.
What diamond did you use?
Since i couldn't afford gem stone quality diamond to do it I looked into buy ing some commercially produced 'yellow' diamonds to do the job. These too were too expensive especially the gem stone quality commercial diamond which are more expensive than the natural counterpart!Originally Posted by King Stromba
So instead i went on general chemical make up. Carbon been the closest as onlys its internal bonding structer making it different from diamond. Hense this is why i used silicone carbide paper (wet and dry to everyone else). The carbon content of this paper helped me achieve the polished edge even though carbon is significantly softer than diamond.
