i just want to know what williams wide track is?
thank you!!!
the williams has a wider front track (wheels are further appart) than a valver.
People use williams parts to convert a valver to williams track if u get me.
Williams track is around 15mm extra each side.
on the front only and a slighty thicker anti roll bar also.
parts to use from the williams
wishbones, control arms, rollbar, driveshafts, struts
are the rear wheels on a willy the same width apart as the front ?
often wondered but never looked
No, the front is wider! The back is the same as a valver. Some people use spacers on the back to bring them out to match the front but I dont really know how this effects the handling. (my 2p's worth lol)
Thanks guys! i dont think il bother converting mine then it seems alot of hassle! does it really make a huge difference?
so they say. mines even wider though so i can,t tell you. but it must make a little otherwise renault wouldn,t have bothered.
*Apparently* it does make a difference, yea..Originally Posted by Clio-Girl
