One for the register northy - #407

Had a tip off this was coming into a local salvage yard today, went to have a nosey at it when it arrived as was considering buying it at the right price. However, it is not being broke so please dont ask us to get bits off it etc (you bunch of vultures) - Shame really that its ended up where it is as it doesnt need much to get it back on the road - but it is a write off so will be a Class C. The car is mint with no rust on the arches etc and only 61K on the clock, such a shame Any previous owners on here of this????

    Williams 1 No 407

Oh yeah it needs minimal work to get it back on the road, but not worth it for what money the guy wants for it. Considering it classed as a write off the value is halved immediately.

Go in there waving a large wad of cash - might be more persuasive?

Its hit a curb, its got a bent bottom arm, but the sub frame is not damaged. The wheel is ****ed and the wing is broken.

The bumper is in tact inside the car, but there is a dent in the bonnet and the grill is broken. We did wave a wad of cash lol - but he knew what it was and wouldnt budge

Exactly, as said the cat c will halve its value, plus the history is missing for the car so the mileage is not verified- although you can tell its genuine when you look at the car -the interior is like new etc. The money they want for it is not far off the price of a straight one lol
