Thread: Water pump????

    Water pump????

    Tried removing this today but it will not come off

    i cant get the two bolts off (near the top)

    how do you get these out
    any help would be great.

    remove alternator bracketry and i think p/s pump bracketry has to come out too.

    ok thanks for your help.

    also im going to do the cambelt. do i need to lock the cams?, also do i just have to mark the lines on belt with the marks on cams? and then tension it?

    any help would be great

    marks on cams should be lined up with marks on head. no need to lock them.

    Marks on cam pulleys line up to rocker cover markings. Lock the crank with the locking tool which slots into ring gear on flywheel below the air filter. Have fun doing the belt mate nasty little torxies!

    Marks on cam pulleys line up to rocker cover markings. Lock the crank with the locking tool which slots into ring gear on flywheel below the air filter. Have fun doing the belt mate nasty little torxies!
    Th engine is out of the car so im hoping this will make it easier where abouts do u lock crank the cars gearbox and clutch are off it at the mo.

    Also on the bottom pulley do you remove the pulley for aux belt to get to the one behind to put the cambelt on?

    what tension does it need to be tighted to?
