Idle problem - ISCV at fault?

Is it possible for the ISCV to act differently when cold to when warm?

Say causing the engine to stall when cold but working fine when warm?

The air screw only affects base line idle and shouldent be tampered with.

Take off ISCV - clean it well, let it dry and lubricate with WD40 or similar.
The connector has 3 pins. Midlle is earth. The other two makes it open or close. Putting 12v over the earth and either of the two other will make the valve open and close fully if the valve is working.

I had one that was sticking a little bit when closing causing irratic idle.

Haven't tried it, but the previous owner has changed it, it looks like new so dosn't look like its been on long. What would a faulty one cause?

Ive changed the ECU aswell which made no difference, my suspicion is still with the ISCV not opening when it should, so ill try and test it to see if its operating correctly and then work from there,

very much dout its the tdc lead, you would get no ign at all if this was faulty, the iscv mainly works on warm up, does the fault go when hot, this just feeds the engine with more air on choke, the cars real idle is set when hot with bypass screw, you can normaly check that iscv aint seized by flicking them fast with your waist, hard to explain but you would here it click,

It does it all the time from cold, and when its warm aswell. Tried the ISCV and its moving freely when pushing it with your finger, but its making a real funny noise when its running, you can feel it vibrating quite a bit, and making a buzzing noise.
