    Phase 3 steering wheel removal

    HOW DO U GET THE FOOKER OFF BEFORE I CHOP IT OFF WITH AN ANGLE GRINDER

    2 torx screws underneath. on the blackbox and 1 or 2 on the actual wheel and rag the ****er!!!

    kool, cheers mate, will i have to watch out for an air bad exploding on me or is there a way to disable it??

    Yes, there is a way to disable it. Once the screws at the rear are undone you should be able to look inside and locate a wire and a plug. Carefully undo the plug and the airbag is disabled - a red LED within the steering wheel unit (not normally visible unless you have the wheel apart) will come on to highlight the fact that it is no longer armed correctly. That said the wheel still contains an explosive device, so don't go dropping it or handling it roughly as it could still go off.
