    looked at a williams today

    its done 85k

    exterior is mint

    interior is mint

    but has a blowing exhaust

and the steering column has LOADS (nearly a quarter turn) of play in it but after searching the forum this looks like a common problem.

just had new discs and pads
    new clutch cable

    But

    Is only MOT'd till october
and tax runs out in may.

    and the arches look fabulous!

    What should i offer???
Welding looks like an easy job!

Its a williams two.... owned by a lady driver.

Sounds good that if it is mint and just wants a column weld, just make sure its not the rack or tranck rod ends as well as the column because it sound like youve got a load of play there.
