AAAGOOD Supersprint Manifold!!!

My downpipe cracked couple of weeks back. Second time its happened now. I needed to take it off to fix it properly but someone welded it together at the join haha

I had to use the grinder to get it off today. Here are some pictures.

I am taking it to work tomorrow! I will get pics before I put it back on to show what I have done. Got a couple of mods in mind!

my new manifolds gonna rock - its just simply going to be some old smarties tubes pva glued together and coated in tin foil for extra bling

so glad i never went for one of these, more trouble than they are worth

the reason they fail is down to no support as the standard manifold has on the manifold to block.

All the weight of the exhaust and engine rocking has to give somewhere.

Get a flexi section welded in Bit more expensive but will solve you heat and fatigue issue. It's that or weld your engine to the chasis
(you could also as suggested make up a support for the manifold to the block).

I think that one failing is more down to the damage it's taken.
