    my xbox 360....

    ....has just died.

i've had it for 2 years so its £85 to get it repaired by microsoft.
the only good thing is after i get it back im entitled to buy a 2 year warranty for £50 which i think i'll defo be doin!

no more halo2 on live! no more pro evo!

    its a sad day!!

I had my first 360 for 7 months before i got the 3 red lights. They usually still work but you keep getting the 3 lights again on odd occations. It means hardware failiure or overheating. My mate had a powercut recently and it made 3 red lights come up on his. My 2nd 360 i took back yesterday cuz it kept giving me disc read errors. Now i have a new one and skanked them out of gears of war too for free lol. God bless Asda

    :D

i have no clue wether you can fix it yourself.
all i know is they told it its a hardware fault and to send them my 360 without the hardrive.

nah mine didnt work at all!!
if you didnt get three lights, it just would boot up at all!!!

I got 3 red lights, it wouldnt turn on. So i unlugged it and plugged it back in and it worked, then it did it again a few days later so i got rid asap. Yours must be worse than mine was.

    Dunno mate, maybe?

Ive had 3 now and the best one i had was the first one. No disc errors or anything, just the odd freeze online which is normal. The 2nd one i had only 2 months and i just took it back cuz it kept sayin clean the disc and stuff, really pissed me off. I dont think these xbox live updates help them tbh, im sure they **** em up. Hopefully this one wil be ok. good thing is, with asda, everytime you take it back you get another 1 year warranty lol
