Martin - would it make 150bhp on a standard 1.8 head though? My mates with a similar spec to mine made 150bhp but his is cammed.

yeah it will do...
there must have been a problem with your mates, ona 1.8 head with cams, depending on spec of course, you would be looking at maybe 160bhp.

It is tempting and with the 172 Cup fund could probs make/buy a nice one.
BUT, I don't think I can go back to rusty arches, creaks and rattles, leaky sunroofs, cold fans and dodgy gearboxes
That's why I'm getting a 172 ofc :D

93 valver with a few bits and bobs, was rr'd at 141 atf b4 a got it, dunno what it is now really maybe just over that
