I would plead that you need your licence for work and you may be lucky to keep it, if your licence is clean already.

Shitter tho, cos your insurance will go through the roof with a DD40 or CD10/20.

30 was an urban dual carraigeway. when i got pulled over tho i didnt sign anything or was given anything??

Already have a CU20 on my licence

Just to clarify a few items a DD40 has an obligatory driving ban, minimum of 3-11 penalty points if your exceptionally not disqualified and a maximum of 2 years imprisonment...

To get prosicuted for a DD40 for excessive speed is doubtfull unless you were seen to be driving in a reckless mannor or caused an accident etc, should you have circumstance on your side you may be lucky with a CD40 but i would be most inclined to think a DD10 could be more heading your way... However that is usually reserved for extreme cases... IIRC a DD10 stays on your licence for 11 years unlike most the others which are only 4 years, very odd in my oppinion, lol

In all honesty it all depends on what you were doing, why, and what evidence there is against you. Also as a rough guide a DD40 + £10K Claim put my insurance from £900FC 3xNCB, to £1300TPF&T 1xNCB after an 18 Month BAN and a HUGE fine and LOTS of community service!!!

****ing hell dude, 82 in a 30 is a little OTT... I'd say your looking at a ban and hefty fine AT LEAST, possibly jail too...

I'd get a very good lawyer that specialises in this sort of thing, as for your license you can kiss that goodbye, I cant see any amount of pleading letters from the boss making an ounce of difference... sorry

i got a 2 month ban and an 80 quid fine for getting caught at 84 in a 40

they'll probably be more harsh on you because it was a 30 zone but i seriously doubt you'll got to jail or anything like that... just say your accelerator cable was sticking lol...
