    Good brake setup for track?

Looking at replacing all the discs and pads on the williams, which is going to be used solely for track.

Heard people recommend Brembo max discs from GSF and Ferodo Pads, I think I have some DS2000's under the stairs, is this a good combo or are the 2500's better?

I have always experienced brake fade on track, would the above discs and pads reduce the rate of fade or would it be useful replacing the fluid and putting some race type fluid?

Bear in mind I want to use standard calipers at the mo, not 4 pots

    Cheers

    Rob

i have the 2500s i believe...not exactly sure tbh, as the box jus said ds series on it, and they were recommended by a local factors. they are all red, the metal, and the outer sides of the pad surface.

iv had this set up on for oulton and brunters...never had a bit of fade at all. well impressed tbh.

have braided lines and dot 4 too.

ur welcome to give em a try if u like.

Jon I think mine are those ones, need to clear the shit out from under the stairs to find out :P

Should I be taking brake advice off you, you never use them

Do the braided lines make a difference then?

richy 4 pots are ideal but im a pez :D

After driving the cup racer rob, all u need to do is remove the fogs and get some ducting to the calipers.....mine run totally standard pads and disks and at cadwell i was locking up with no fad at all....

Im sure you could make them fade if abused....

Get a fog light duct and make something similar to the valver wishbone ducts and thats more or less the set up i run.
