My valver... 56k go make a cake!

well heres the plans and what ive done on my valver since i bought it!

Heres my 96 valver, a few pics of when i picked it up:

I then lowered it by 1 spline on the torsion bar and apex 50mm springs.

    Plans to do:
    Strip the rear,
Fit the buckets and harnesses from the 172:

    Fit the 172 wheels
Repainted in a MAD in your face colour...again
    Cambelt
Headgasket is leaking oil, not major though.
    Decat
New centre section as its too heavy lol

    In time...
    Brembo MAX slotted discs

    PF97 pads(if still avaliable!)mmmmm B)

Retro-fit 172 front brake setup, comprising of 285mm front discs.
    Williams wide track-possibly
    Williams engine
    cams
    And finally ITB's

    -------------------
Right, now how it is today from that last list:
    I have...
    Fitted the 172 wheels:

Changed the gearbox twice now, and this one is on its way out

Stripped it all out, all carpet etc is out, just need to find something to replace the front door cards with...

At the same time I decided to change the steering wheel for a non airbag item:

    Ive also fitted a 19 16v 4th gearbox mount:

Ive now got my cams from Coops, all built up and timed up in a ported head:

    The buckets are in!

You can see the strut brace my mate welded for me when he was in college, built like a tank LOL

I dont think they will at all.

Besides..your better of using the 172 discs, and fitting 4pots...far less un-sprung mass, and bettr for track use.
