    my clio is giving me cold air not recommended for dis weathr

    my heater is pushing cold/warmish air if i give it some gas the heater pushes even warmer air... why is this...i freeze in that car!! anyone got solutions?

    can be loads of things, shitty coolant or someone has used radweld in the past and blocked up the pipes. or could be down to the heater controls themselves

    ive checked the heater controls they are fine. not sure about the other things you've mentioned.

    do your engine temps get hot ? if not your thermostat is probably stuck in the open poss, else more then likely the matrix / pipes blocked

    the engine temp is fine stays near the cold side. its just the heater not giving enough hot air.

    where are the pipes that connects to the heater? if its not hard i can probably try to clean it out.

    you could try a coolant flush, but what i ment was if your thermostat is open the engine wont get upto temp and thus you will always have a cold ish blower

    You can rule that out by letting the car idle and heat up till the fan kicks in.

    If at that point the heaters still arent hot, youve got a clogged matrix.

    just changed my matrix over - pig of a job and not one i want to do anytime soon! Am glad of it now though, nice and warm inside the car..
