    WILLIAMS V TYPE R CIVIC

    approaching a r/bout with a type r on my bumper , turned left onto d/c with the civic tryin to take me on outside lane. ive floored it in 2nd then 3rd the civic is a car lenghth behind , when changing into 4th my feckin gearknob falls off ...didnt get 4th only neutral.

    my car is standard ,would i,av kept up with him if i got 4th n 5th..?

    shud do, i kept up comfortably with one to mid way through 5th in my valver, williams shud do fine

    mine is not standard but I pull away from them quite well and they seem to get slower past 100 ish

    good to hear as i've got a mate with a type r, who thinks he's going to wipe the floor with my little shitty clio, piss's his sides if i crack a joke that i'll have him a do, he he, cant wait to kick his gay ass!

    4th you should keep up, but a well driven one in the VTEC will be quicker than most Williams' and 1*2 Clio's once over 120mph, as they really dont stop pulling. My mates one I would pull a couple of cars to 120ish, but after that he'd pull past and go onto 150+. Few mods it was a different story though, I had just a backbox then, so decat, full stainless and cams was the only other time we had a do and I'd easily beat him at all speeds... well, until it hit the limiter in 5th lol

    The EP3s downfall is weight.

    Bare in mind the ek9 type r civics from the past were 1.6s. Put the 2.0 k20 engine in a civic of similar weight as a williams and its a different story!
