    My 16v vs 182 Trophy

Had a race with one last night, was surprisingly close, only a cars length away after about a quarter of a mile, thought that they wud have beaten my 16v badly, but obviously not. Anyone else had a similar experience? After listening to a lot of people on here, i thought that the 16v was slow slow. Cant be that bad if it did well against a 182 trophy.

I presume yours is standard, as I can waste most 182's in mine.

the valver is only 0.1 second slower 0-60 than the williams dont forget!

ive had a few blasts against 172's and tbh up to 100 there is hardly anythin in it. Maybe a car length or so but for an older car they do suprise and piss off 172/182 owners who think the wil Own you

Hmmm I don't think he was trying tbh.....

My Trophy is much quicker than either my 16V or Williams were.

However, your welcome to have a go against my car anytime.

    :D

lol yes but you do need to change into 3rd on a std williams to hit 60!

tbh my valver feels pretty nifty, not compared it with anything except a CTR and that was suprisingly close lol

my williams could just about match my mates FRS to 100, then his would just disapear! lol

My presumption is that a standard willy does 60 in second.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I too have had a duel with a CTR, I woudlnt say I could pass him, as I didnt attempt to so I dont know, but I was on his bumper to 100mph.

Never tried against a Focus RS, the only person I know that has one is my friend an his is well modified.

standard willy rev limits at 6400, needs 3 changes for 60.

Just passes 60 with a raised rev limit to 7100 in 2nd.

yup, u need to use 3rd to hit 60 in std williams, thats why they look so close, not saying there 3sec quicker lol

nah i wouldnt of overtaken the CTR but i could keep with it!

my mates FRS is now modded, running around 260+bhp
