    Starting Problem

Got a strange one basically when the car is cold it turns over fast no problem and starts, But when the car is warm it turns over slow as if the battery is dying even though the battery is fully charged and wont start .

As i say when car cold no problem , Only has to warm a little on the
temp gauge say a quarter then it turns over slow and wont start ...

    any ideas cheers Darren

Sounds like the same problem I had.

It progressed form starting slowly, like flat battery when car was hot to not starting at all when car was hot.

I too have no heat shield on my starter and it was cooking the wires on the starter solenoid. I was convinced it was the battery until Lee wiggled the wires and it started straight away!
