    help needed-cengine compression figs etc

    guys what should the compression fig be in bar for an engine which has done 145K? [having a compresion test done next week] also what should the oil pressure be? do you need to take the engine out to get the head off?? cheers for anyone who can answer the above.

    Oil Pressure should be 3.5bar @ 3000 rpm.

    Head off is easy enough in the car.

    I'll look on autodata cd for more info.

    around 200 psi (13/14bar). shouldnt be loads of variationj tho...thats the main thing.

    Dont forget to keep the throttle open whilst doing it!

    Hi. I'm snakeylady's daughters b/f, so i'm looking at the clio. Sorry to register on here when i don't drive a clio, but thought it would be quicker this way.
    Compression is fine then, with 13-13.5 bar on three cylinders and about 12.75 on the last, which isn't too bad. But i think the valve stem oils seals may be worn, is that common on these at 145k?
    Finally, that oil pressure figure, we're not getting that much, but what oil is that with?
