i doubt it mate! the amount of people that are doing this is immense. anyways if the bank was to treat you unfairly and be a cunt, then theres always the ombudsman you could go too....

You only need to compile a list of the charges in a table, you dont need to present them with all the statements. Well, thats what I did with my sisters anyway. When I helped her do hers, the co op bank wanted £5 a statement, so she signed up for interent banking and we took it all off there.

my internet banking only goes back a year! but there is a letter on the first post on here that asks the bank to go over 6 years worth of statements on your behalf for free....

I'm sure if you write to them explaining why you want them, they will oblige. Just comparing to the way I helped my sister approach it, every bank is diff aren't they.

Cuz i was told all i need to do is call them and it will cost about £5 for 5 years?
