in 1 day:

05:25 - Leave home and join M56.
06:25 - Join M5
09:00 - Get stuck outside Port Talbot
10:20 - Arrive at Pembroke Dock.

14:25 - Leave the Docks and head up the A40 to Camarthen
15:00 - Head from Camarthen to Llandovery still on the A40 and be amazed at the Sugar Loaf Halt. Jaw dropping scenery and roads.
15:30 - Through Llandovery to Buillth Wells on the A483. Rocking road this one!
16:00 - Buillth to Newtown. Fog rolls in just as light is fading and I get stuck behind a HGV.
17:00 - Newtown. Knackered, hungry, eyes are burning and neck is killing.
17:30-19:10 - Trudge brainlessly from Newtown via Wrxham to M56 and home. 98% of road users appear to be nob cheeses that think light mist qualifies as a proper pea souper thus requiring all lights on their car to be on, just so you can see them 3 fricking miles away!

Mad day. Must do the Cambrian roads properly though sometime as it was like the Peaks but scaled up by 10!
