My first motor was in 1967...Morris Minor. Great little car ..could have the head off in about 30 minutes. Decoke the valves and have the engine running 3 hours later. But rust got the better of it.

Next was a 2.4 Mark 2 Jaguar. ..in Carmine Red. Didnt like the colour so sprayed it orange with a matt black roof...splayed the wheel arches..wey hey man thought I had arrived. What a pratt really...again rust got the better of it.

Next a Ford Anglia which could motor...nothing compared to todays cars of course. Yup rusted away

No cars for a few years as I stuck to motor bikes...old 650 Triumphs/BSAs/Nortons ...it was the Rocker Years of black leather jackets, boots with white socks tucked over the top. Could ride without a helmet..just goggles on...dangerous but we wus young and enjoyed chasin the mods on scooters. The music was good mid 60s..time of what we thought of new freedom...we had money and smoking "pot" [as it was called then]...I had hair then too. The old cafe bars were great with Juke boxes and frothy coffee...as for the birds...mmmm as long as you had a bike you scored.

That all stopped when she got pregnant and had a sidecar fitted to the AJS....soon to progress to a landrover.
Since the early 70s had a load of cars...even a 2CV 6....toured France with it...my second phase in life when I became a drop out...who needs a car I thought.
Now my stable is Passat W8...4 litres of V8...and my Willy 3. Without doubt the Willy is the best car I have ever owed or driven...for pure fun speed and cornering you cant beat them for the price. You gotta spend a lot of mioney for a motor that can match the performance. Will never be without my bikes my Harley has been tweaked a little with 1550 cc 0 with a colour matched sidecar which we toured Ireland last summer...and for my solo fun a Kawasaki VN 2000.

As you see I like big motors and enjoy a turn of speed when I fancy...once a rocker always a rocker. Bikes have always been in my blood..indeed tried to exchange my Willy 3 for another bike...but saw sense...as they are the best money can buy. Take it from me...been round for a few years...and soon will be 60.
