Help Needed Please

As you can see above the accelerator cable has detached itself from the pedal but the clip on the end of the cable just goes in and out of the pedal hole with no way of securing it ... am i missing any thing .. clip etc not to sure what should be on the end if anything .. any ideas please cheers Darren

On the side of the white clip there should be a bit that pushes into the pedal shaped like an arrows head, this is what holds in it place.
From what i can see in that pic it looks like one side of the clip has broke off.

u need a new cable

or..

for a temp bodge wind on one of those thread cutting nut or self tapping nuts, not sure of thier name

the nut i mean is the same sort if thing that holds the manifold heat shield on
