have you tried reading the error messages?

The error is, if you read the error message

That it can't open the gif file.

So then, the first thing to do is check if that file exists on the server

Then see if the directory has the correct permissions.

as summeh says. there is a error in your php coding....and or files are missing.

the server has the right file

do you know what i should chmod the file to? 777 or 755?
