Oil Pressure Sensor?

The oil pressure gauge is not reading...i've changed the dials (which I know works) and still no joy, so I assume that it's the sender.

Does anybody have the part code/know where's best place to buy oil pressure sender unit?

and you dont think its a good idea to check the oil
pressure sensor wire before buying a new sensor
for mega bucks
