    High compression

    Hey

Looking for a 2.0 be at min for a project.. What would be the benifits of running higher compression say 11.2:1

As k tec do higher c/r forged pistons

set up would be something as follows

    1.8 head with manifold
2.0 bottom end with poss higher c/r
    and poss 50shot nos

A higher compression ratio is simply more a more efficient component to releasing more mechanical energy from fuel.

If you wait for a while, we will be bringing out the most advanced forged piston for the F7/4 series engines available. In terms of material, design and manufacture process, nothing currently available will even come close.

At what cost? It wont be for a while, got christmas to get out the way first and then will need to gather all the parts slowly to spread cost..

I wont be releasing price untill they are 100% tested and ready, which should be beginning of next year.

There will be independant testing by some rather large name companies on the continent.

But if your paying £500 at the moment for 'good' pistons, you will think you've hit jackpot with mine.
