Number 3

Hey guys,

As was mentioned in a separate thread I had a wad of hit and run damage down the offside of the Willy, which was fixed last week.
While the body shop (Ivy Bridge Body Centre of Plympton) did a fantastic job there was one problem they encountered. As they could only get a “Williams” sticker from the dealers up the road meaning I still need a number 3.
Today I popped into the dealers and was told that they could only order a "Williams", I was lucky their suppliers had that in stock and that I wouldn’t be able to order a "Williams 3" directly from Renault.

Do any of you cool Williams cats have a spare 3 I’d be able to buy, know of anyone readily able to stencil one up or of a dealer/shop that can get them in?

Any help is appreciated.

....and cus i'm feeling generious i just rang up my local Renault dealer (coventry) and checked its availability for you, £7.94 + vat (iirc) and its still available

Thanks taking the time to direct me to the right thread and making the call.
It’s odd that the Plymouth dealers said that there was no way I’d be able to get the sticker off them as their suppliers had none, yet the chaps at Coventry haven’t a problem.
Is there a number or website that goes straight to the main suppliers?

Quote the part number and just tell them that they are available at Coventry, or try another local dealers

There is no centeral parts number/website

remember in that pack you get 3 number 3 stickers! they cant be purchased as packs of one.

Hey Guys,

I quoted the part number and the dealers were able to get the stickers through however there was a problem.
Unfortunately “3" STICKER=7701385855” refers to the boot lid sticker and not the one for the offside. While the differences are pretty small, I would like to keep the car as authentic as is humanly possible.
The dealers were typically “helpful” by insisting they probably couldn’t find out the correct part number, so I’m hoping you guys can chip in with your wealth of knowledge.

Any further help is greatly appreciated.
