    isolated alarm no sound

    i isolated my alarm so i chould charge battery and forgot to put it back on..

    anyway i have put it back on but there is no sound coming out of unit just the odd sound no siren..

    is the battery knakered in it or does it need to charge for a few days..

    the battery must of discharged in it ..

    anyone had this or siren not working?

    any help whould be nice ..

    if its standard check the normally taped up blade fuses, they can pop when the battery is reconnected.

    yea is standard alarm is phase 2 .. has isolater to disable sieren near washer bottle

    .. thing is is was off when i connected battery .. will check also were are the fuses?

    taped up ones????????????

    renault alarm is installe dby mongs, they mnnormally have the blade fuses near the siren or up in the dash so you need to take the dash top off. They normally wrap them up with tape.

    SHoudl be a row of 3 blade fuses - narmally.

    Sometimes they don't bother and they just catch fire instead. I have a big pile of standard alarms in the shed.

    the alarm does or trys to make a sound.. so fuses may not be gone. do you think the batterys are gone .. the thing is it was working fine before i forgot to switich it back on.. dam dum ass..
