Always good to start with a good service, Could be somthing as simple as a part blocked fuel filter.

Is the car slower on acceleration??

Change the fuel filter, plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm ect.....

Hmm, theres so many. faulty injector, throttle not opening fully, an engine sensor not working,, faulty coil, etc etc...

Does the engine struggle after a certain revs in all gears? Or does it struggle past 60mph even in say, third gear. ie. Is the problem revs related or roads speed related?

I had the same problem with my 1.2. I was told it could be an alternator problem.

Bought a williams instead, expensive solution tho.
