williams doors and 16v doors

Forgive what may be a stupid question but I assume a clio 16v mk1 doors will fit a williams 2? (Both front and boot lid)

Is the complete body the same? Thanks for any help!

Yes they will fit no probs

Ph2 16v parts will be 100% spot on for a williams 2

yeah should fit fine, think later ph2 have side impact bars though, only thing im not sure on is when the door strip fits, never looked at both without the strips tbh!

Shame its not a phase 2 clio 16v doors I may have found!!

^Side strips use different clips between Ph1 and 2...doors the same tho^

A williams 2 is a ph2

Ph2 doors have side bars ...as richy says
Ph2 Tail gates down have a washer jet hole as it's on the wiper

So a phase 1 clio 16v doors no good for my willy 2? I take it the metallic blue is the same?

What about the lower boot strip that is different between the phase 1 and 2s?

I believe they're both 449 blue so should be fine, although pain always changes over time so you will very probably only get a 98% match rather than a perfect match.

The tailgate trim is just a piece of plastic and can be swapped over to ph2 spec - I'm sure someone on here will have one!

Both Ph's of door will fit and look the same .....just one will have a bar in and the other won't lol

The boot strip is different Ph1 is grey with badges...Ph2 is carbone stylee to match the lights

449 blue is shared with valvers J-Mreg

done both my drivers door and tailgate.

the drivers door needed the hinge pulling slightly to get a nice fit, both door and tailgate were re-sprayed.

got my door for 99p from ebay!
