    I paid for the belt and changed the cambelt myself.. its not the hardest of jobs tbh.

    a days work at most

    Yeah sorry I meant its not much for tha actually cambelt, didn't mean including labour :p

    normal belt price is about 18 quid, on ebay they come up a lot cheaper new though.

    well of course i would of rather done mine than pay a garage but i dont have anywhere to work on my car living in a flat and i have near to NO tools or mates to give me hand around here :(

    Thats not a bad price what you paid really. My friend paid over 500 for his to be done at Renault.

    Can't understand how the bearings on teh tensioner being ****ed woudl make it harder to remove

    I'd always change the tensioners when i do the belt, on the subject mien si coming off again today for me to sort my oil leak
